Who is this for:
The sessions are suitable for people who have no prior experience in clay and are keen on understanding the process behind ceramic making. You will be able to experience the tactile nature of clay and learn the basics of working with clay.
Even if you have some experience, this can be a good opportunity to get acquainted with the studio, learn new techniques, or simply just enjoy the experience of working with clay.
What you will learn:
For handbuilding sessions, you will learn how to make an octagonal bowl, with multiple techniques such as slab building, coiling etc. and simple decorating techniques.
For wheel-throwing sessions, you will learn to make a bowl/simple forms via the electric wheel. Techniques such as centering, pulling walls, and shaping will be taught to you.
Pieces you choose to keep will be glazed and gas-fired.
Fees:
$90 / pax
Min 2 pax per booking.
Clay and tools are included.
Firing charges are separate @ $4.50/100g.
(Includes glazing, 1x bisque + 1x gas firing)

Studio at Tampines Industrial Park.
Tue / Wed / Fri / Sun Afternoon/Evening
Sat Morning (1.5hr session)
Timings are flexible and can be arranged.
